#Bills release Pro Bowl center Mitch Morse along with reaction to the news right here:

The Buffalo Bills have parted ways with center Mitch Morse in another salary cap move.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Morse has been released by the Bills:

The 31-year-old’s release will clear a hefty amount of salary cap space for the Bills, approximately $8.5 million. Cutting Morse comes alongside a slew of other players released by the Bills, including safety Jordan Poyer, cornerback Tre’Davious White, defensive back Siran Neal, among others.

In a follow-up report, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has said Buffalo’s offensive line will be moving around some pieces. Left guard Connor McGovern will move to center in 2024 and David Edwards, who just signed an extension with the team, could end up being the Bills’ starter at left guard.

Overall last season, Pro Football Focus graded the Bills offensive line as the sixth-best in the NFL. However, Morse’s grade from PFF was an average 64.1.
