Bills RB James Cook named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

#Bills RB James Cook named AFC Offensive Player of the Week:

James Cook has been honored by the NFL.

For his efforts in a 31-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys (10-4) in Week 15, the league has named Bills running back James Cook as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week:

Against the Cowboys, Cook put up 221 scrimmage yards, including 179 on the ground. Cook caught a score and rushed in another touchdown.

Cook is the first Bills (8-6) running back to be named Offensive Player of the Week since Travis Henry in 2002. Buffalo’s last weekly honor came in Week 11 when Reggie Gilliam was honored as the Special Teams Player of the Week.

In Week 4, quarterback Josh Allen was named the Offensive Player of the Week–the last time a Bills player earned that award.

Buffalo next face the Los Angeles Chargers (5-9) in Week 16 on the road.
