Bills’ Rasul Douglas: ‘It’s about stacking big plays’

Rasul Douglas is on fire as he faces his former team next:

Rasul Douglas is fresh off one of the best games of his NFL career. Just in time to face his former team.

Douglas recorded two interceptions, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery against the Jets last week in a 32-6 win for the Bills.

That coming only weeks after being traded to his new team.

All in all, Douglas has impressed people over at One Bills Drive. Sead McDermott included.

“He wasn’t shook by being traded at the deadline, it didn’t appear at least,” the head coach said via video conference. “He’s got a football way about him and you’re starting to see some of that on the field.”

Douglas, naturally, feels much better about his contributions to the Bills after such a huge effort. He admitted he felt like his first game or two with the Bills were a bit “sketchy,” but now he’s happy with where he’s at.

“Yeah, you want to make plays. That’s what anybody wants to do. Now it’s about stacking them,” Douglas said.
