The die-hard members of Bills Mafia will be disapproving here, but one outlet doesn’t hold the “pregame experience” at Highmark Stadium very… highly.
Bookies.com ranked each one of those around the NFL, head-to-head. The Buffalo Bills clocked in at a lowly 24th overall position.
Factors used include:
- Location: Close to the action, accessible to fans
- Tailgating: The ability to park and enjoy a crisp fall day with a beverage and grill
- Entertainment Around Stadium: A vibrant bar and restaurant scene within walking distance to your seat
- Family Sentiment: Is the area safe and entertaining for kids and those with kids?
Overall, the Packers’ Lambeau Field ranked No. 1. That could be expected, but one could also point to several similarities to between Buffalo and Green Bay and wonder… huh?
The top-three rounding out the rankings were the Steelers and Vikings, respectively.
Back to the Bills: The tailgating experience was given the second-best grade behind only the Chiefs. The atmosphere was at 7th.
Pulling down the Bills were their low grades in location (Orchard Park) and family sentiment. It was a 25th and 27th place finish for the Bills in those, respectively.
In terms of the AFC East, no one finished in the top half of the league. The Bills’ divisional foes clocked in at:
- 17. Jets
- 27. Patriots
- 31. Dolphins
