The Buffalo Bills are playing their second-straight game on a prime-time football slot, this time on Monday Night Football and against the Tennessee Titans.
Last weekend, Buffalo’s fifth-game of the season, saw the Bills travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs. Heading into that game, the Bills were a three-point underdog.
In the spread, a home team usually gets approximately a three-point bump. If last week at a neutral site, the Bills vs. Chiefs could have been a pick ’em game.
Considering that, if Week 6 against the Titans was in Orchard Park, that one would see Buffalo as more than a touchdown favorite. But because the game is in Tennessee, the Bills are still favorites, but slightly less.
Heading into Week 6, the Bills open as a 4.5-point favorite over the Titans. That line comes to us via Tipico Sportsbook (access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list).
Comparatively to last year, that number is actually smaller. Buffalo traveled to Tennessee and lost a year ago in blowout fashion, 42-16.
The game was delayed due to COVID-19 concerns surrounding the Titans, but the Bills were was still 8.5-point favorites. They went on to get smacked got smacked.
That score looks to be factoring into the rematch of that game in 2021.
In addition to the spread, the over/under opens at 54. The moneyline sits at Bills (-230) and Titans (+194).
