Russell Wilson is back? If you let Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Von Miller tell it, that’s exactly the case.
On the latest episode of his podcast The Voncast, Miller described the play of Wilson as “going crazy” and noted that this season will be much better off for Wilson following the arrival of new head coach Sean Payton.
“He’s been going crazy all season long,” Miller said. “This is what I’ve said all along about Russell Wilson — this year [is] going to be way better than the year before, man. Russell Wilson is going crazy, man. I think his passer rating was higher than Josh Allen’s … Russ is cooking.”

Currently, Wilson may have the data to back up Miller’s claims. His passing yards (1,014) rank ninth are now higher than Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, and Trevor Lawerence — Mahomes and Hurts finished first and second in the NFL MVP race last season. Wilson’s passing touchdowns (nine) are also tied for second in the league.
Miller is set to face off against Wilson when the Broncos go on the road to face the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
