Bills, NFL fans required to wear masks at games in 2020

NFL announces fans must wear a face mask or covering at games in 2020.

It’s a smart call to do anyway, but not it’s a league-wide rule.

The NFL announced via statement on Wednesday that anyone attending a game in 2020 will be required to wear a face covering.

Teams around the NFL have announced varying different sets of ruling in regard to letting fans into stadiums at this time. Most recently, the Jets and Giants announced no fans will be allowed in their stadium as of now in 2020. MetLife Stadium resides just a short distance away from New York City.

On the flip side, the Jaguars recently announced they’ll allow 25 percent of seating at their home games.

Ironically enough (or maybe not really), New York and New Jersey is doing much better in regard to containing coronavirus in their regions, as opposed to Florida, a massive hot spot for it at the current time.

As of now, the Bills have no solid plan in place for their seating setup next season. Buffalo, like NYC, has tamed COVID-19 as compared to many other parts of the United States. It was reported earlier this offseason that the Bills have prepare seating charts for allowing 15, 33, 50 percent seating capacities this fall.

Fans will have to wait and see where the chips fall this September in Orchard Park.
