According to Draft Wire, the Buffalo Bills are among a group of NFL teams that have met twice with one tight end prospect ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft next week.

The player is Cincinnati tight end Josiah Deguara, and the Bills are one of 17 teams specifically mentioned as one that has spoke to him twice during the pre-draft process:

Deguara, 23, is coming off his best season in 2019 with the Bearcats after accumulating 39 catches for 504 yards and seven touchdowns. Deguara is currently pegged as a Day 3 pick, but he’s clearly a popular player among NFL teams, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see him come off the board early on that day of the draft. Deguara is praised for having a strong set of hands catching the ball, and also possessing a knack for run blocking.

While Dawson Knox is a young tight end prospect already on the Bills, having two tight ends could be an appealing trait for the Bills offense in the future. Behind Knox currently is a logjam, though. There’s Tyler Kroft, along with Lee Smith and Jason Croom.
