Bills Mafia shows grace in face of ridiculous rant from Baltimore radio host

Insulting a member of the #BillsMafia is a dangerous ground to walk. Fans of the Bills will ride or die with their team, and they will do so if a member is attacked for no good reason.

Insulting a member of the BillsMafia is a dangerous ground to walk. Fans of the Bills will ride or die with their team, and they will do so if a member is attacked for no good reason.

Calling out Del Reid, co-founder of the Bills Mafia and founder of 26 Shirts, is flatout blasphemy.

Yet, this is what Baltimore sports-talk host Jerry Coleman decided would be a good use of his time.

Coleman, who is heard on 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, dedicated some time on his show this morning to insult, Reid and the city of Buffalo, which Coleman called a “city of losers.”

The initial discussion, which didn’t involve Coleman, started with a basic tweet from ESPN’s Trey Wingo. Wingo shared a list of possible NFL Coach of the Year candidates. Reid interjected about the omission of Bills head coach Sean McDermott.

Coleman, for some reason, felt the need to critique and insult the Bills fan base and city.

Here’s a clip of Coleman:

Coleman’s rant, uncalled for and unprofessional, lacked any sort of reasoning and more so, any purpose for the rant.

He referred to Reid as “some loser.” Later, Coleman added, “But the Bills Mafia is too stupid to realize when they’re down” in response to a weak tweet that he wrote. He capped off his illogical rant calling the Buffalo a “city of losers.”

How does the Bills community address this problem?

With poise, composure, and selflessness. The fan base decided to rise above the insults of an apparently insecure radio host.

Buffalo’s fanbase, in the same manner, that they did for the Andy and JJ Dalton Foundation in 2017, has decided to take positive action.

Even as Coleman tried to double down on his comments, Bills fans continued to show their goodwill, donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
