Bills’ Josh Allen on Stefon Diggs critics: ‘Ticks me off when people say stuff’

The Buffalo Bills had another Stefon Diggs reaction on the sideline in their latest game.

Josh Allen wants you to know that’s pretty much it–and if you say otherwise, he’s not going to be happy about it.

In Week 5, the Bills (3-2) lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in a 25-20 contest out in London.

Offseason narratives surrounding Diggs included: Him wanting to leave Buffalo, him hating Allen, and so on…

But that was not the case.

Unfortunately for Allen, he’s not in a good mood talking about Diggs because he can’t control those headlines. Cameras caught Diggs upset on Sunday and thoughts on social media and across the NFL world started circulating again.

Allen did his best to defend his teammate when approached about Diggs being upset. He even explained what happened. Who was Diggs mad at? Himself.

“I know a lot of people are throwing different ideas of what he was mad at on the sideline,” Allen said. “He was mad at himself for running a wrong release on a route. He’s a competitor, he’s a fiery competitor. I’m tired of hearing all this nonsense from people.”

Some critics pointed to Diggs potentially being mad at Allen because of an interception he threw on a pass to him against the Jags. It was a toss up and defender Darious Williams took the ball away from Diggs… but even Diggs admitted he liked that play.

“I put it more on my shoulders than anything. He made a good play,” Diggs said via video conference.

Unfortunately for the duo, it just is what it is. Like them, Bills Mafia will just have to do their best to ignore the outside noise.
