Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen has had an uneven first two weeks of the 2023 NFL season and that’s being nice.
After turning the ball over four times in Week 1, Allen threw three touchdowns with zero turnovers in Week 2. In the midst of that performance, he achieved another record in NFL history.
On Sunday, after the Bills demolished the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10, ESPN Stats & Info noted that Allen, 27, had the most games (5) passing for three touchdowns while completing at least 80 percent of his passing attempts before turning 30 years old in league history.
Against the Raiders, Allen went 31-of-37 (83.78%) for 274 yards, good for a passer rating of 124.5.
Thanks to Buffalo’s offensive line playing better, Las Vegas could not get pressure on Allen and he carved the Raiders defense thanks to the added time the linegave him.
Allen and the Bills have a tougher test against the Washington Commanders in Week 3:
