Bills safety Jordan Poyer is sitting out OTAs (organized team activities) in an effort to get a contract extension done.

That doesn’t mean he’s not willing to help out.

In wake of the mass shooting in Buffalo, despite staying away from the field, Poyer is not removing himself from the Buffalo community.

Along with ECMC, Poyer held a charity event at The Dome in Williamsville this past week. While there, he did comment that he’s still ready to go in terms of football.

Poyer also mentioned, like Micah Hyde’s softball game, he still wanted to go through with his event in an effort support the 5/14 survivors fund.
