The Buffalo Bills have added cornerback Ike Brown to the reserve/ COVID-19 list on Monday. Brown was an undrafted rookie free agent signee of the Bills out of FIU following the 2020 NFL Draft.
Brown becomes the first player from the Bills to be added to this coronavirus-related list. Since Brown’s addition, Bills defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has decided to opt-out of playing in 2020 because of the ongoing pandemic.
The list does not mean Brown has tested positive for the virus, although, he could have. But Brown might be on the list because he’s been instructed to quarantine because he has been in contact with another person who has the virus.
In total, 22 players across the NFL were placed on that list from teams on Monday. Also among those was Dolphins long snapper Blaker Ferguson, who’s the brother of Reid Ferguson, Buffalo’s long snapper. However, Reid Ferguson took to his social media account via Twitter and said he hasn’t seen his brother in-person in a month.
