The Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos are set to do battle in the Wild Card round in the AFC with the 2024 NFL playoff picture now completely settled.
The Bills (13-4) had been locked into the No. 2 seed in the AFC since their win in Week 17 against the New York Jets. That meant a home game, but the opponent was not determined.
Heading into their season finale, the Denver Broncos (10-7) had to beat the Kansas City Chiefs to get into the postseason. Much like the Bills in their Week 18 game, the Chiefs did not play many of their starters but the Broncos still got the job done.
A strong defense for years, Denver has found a promising young quarterback in rookie Bo Nix. He helped guide his team to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
Now it’s a brand new season for both teams. A win is all that matters.
Following the dust being settled, game times have been announced in by the NFL for the postseason
The Bills will host the Broncos at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m.
Buckle up, Bills Mafia.
