Could a homecoming of sorts be on the horizon?
According to Bookies.com, it’s possible.
An infamous player in Buffalo Bills history, Rob Gronkowski is on the fence about playing in the NFL again.
“Gronk” has yet to decide on his future, but if he does play again in 2022, could it be with the Bills? Buffalo were given the top odds from the sports-betting outlet recently, so it appears to be a possibility to some extent:

Gronkowski, 32, is a Buffalo native. That clearly factors in.
Just looking at the tight end’s numbers on paper, it would be a no-brainer. Not only has Gronkowski produced a fantastic series of years during his career, he did just last season.
With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gronkowski had 55 catches for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 2021.
Now onto a bit of the “fit” question.
By comparison, Bills starter Dawson Knox had 49 catches for 587 yards this past season during his breakout year, however, Knox did have more scores with nine.
Is there enough to go around between those two? Plenty of that answer might have to do with offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and how much he would plan to use two tight end sets in Buffalo’s offense.
It remains to be seen if Gronkowski would truly have interest in playing with a quarterback not named Tom Brady… but one has to think Josh Allen is a pretty close second.
It’s also not super far fetched to think about.
NFL Network reported in March 2021 that Gronkowski did consider an offer from the Bills at that time. He ultimately returned to the Buccaneers.
The final thing to consider is the reaction from fans in Buffalo.
Gronkowski has previously touted his hometown many times in the past. There’s still that whole cheap shot on cornerback Tre’Davious White to consider. Will fans overlook that?
It might be a tough sell.
What might not be is selling the idea that a four-time Super Bowl champion could help the Bills reach that big game in 2022.
Also in terms of the Bills: Think about the Emmanuel Sanders signing. After he landed in Buffalo last offseason, Bills general manager Brandon Beane admitted he tried to get the wide receiver to join his team multiple times until it finally happened.
Same thing with Gronk en route?
