A wild scenario unfolded for Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins on Thursday while he was at practice with his teammates.
According to TMZ Sports, Dawkins was excused from practice because a plane ended up crashing in his yard at his home located in East Aurora.
According to the report, the aircraft was described as a “single engine” plane. It had “apparently experienced mechanical issues.” In addition, it was on its way to New York from Michigan.
Dawkins eventually returned to Orchard Park on Thursday and his comments can be found below:
Dion Dawkins spoke today about the plane crash that happened near his East Aurora property this morning.
“I just hope the pilot’s family is OK. … and I’m glad that my family is perfectly fine.”
