Deonte Harty has a well-deserved pay bump coming his way.
Harty rocked the Miami Dolphins for a 96-yard touchdown on a punt return in the second half of the Buffalo Bills’ Week 18 matchup against their AFC East rivals.
That score tied the game at 14 and the Bills went on to win 21-14… and the divisional title in the process.
For his efforts, Harty, who has been mostly quiet in his first season in Buffalo, hit a $250,000 incentive in his contract after scoring on that play.
According to Spotrac, Harty moved his yards per punt return up to 12.4 with the touchdown. Prior to that, Harty sat at 9.1. To secure it, he had to surpass 10.5 yards per return.
A score and 96 yards later, Harty has a nice check hitting his bank account in due time.
