Damar Hamlin’s encouraging road to recovery continues, now in Orchard Park itself.
On Wednesday, head coach Sean McDermott said that Hamlin has been appearing at the team’s facilities “almost daily.”
“It’s limited,” McDermott said via video conference. “But he comes in and really just started really today or yesterday and just trying to get back to a little bit of a routine and just get himself acclimated again and taking it one step, one baby step at a time here.”
On Jan. 11, the 24-year-old was officially discharged from the hospital 12 days after suffering cardiac arrest against the Cincinnati Bengals during a Week 17 NFL game.
Last weekend, Hamlin was not at Buffalo’s Wild-Card game against the Miami Dolphins, however, he was with his teammates the day before. Linebacker Matt Milano shared an Instagram post which showed Hamlin with his teammates in Orchard Park.
At this time there is no word on whether or not Hamlin would make an appearance at the Bills’ Divisional-round matchup against the same Bengals on Sunday.
