Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane came into the homes of NFL fans across the country for a brief moment this week.
HBO’s longtime docuseries, “Hard Knocks,” brought Beane to screens for a quick second during its season premiere, which was unveiled Tuesday night.
The storyline with Beane involved two other familiar names, Joe Schoen and Dan Morgan. Those two are general managers of the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers, respectively.
Their steppingstone to those jobs was positions in Buffalo’s front office.
In “Hard Knocks,” the trio are shown on the sideline at the 2024 Senior Bowl. Then the conversation turns to a very interesting topic: trades.
And what makes that chat particularly interesting is that the Panthers eventually made trades with both the Bills and Giants this offseason. The one Buffalo was involved in was one of their trades to move down in the first round.
