Bills’ Brandon Beane breaks down entire Von Miller timeline

What #Bills GM Brandon Beane said about Von Miller’s season-ending injury:

Bills general manager Brandon Beane is typically the most candid person to get behind a microphone representing the organization. Following the Von Miller news, Beane provided an update from his end.

In a surprise move, Miller was ruled out for the remainder of the 2022 season. It had been discovered he tore his ACL in the knee he injured.

According to the GM, the team was just as surprised as fans to hear what happened.

Beane said the team followed the exact timeline that he laid out last week (see, he is candid). Following Miller’s initial injury against the Lions on Thanksgiving, the Bills (9-3) placed Miller on injured reserve even after Miller was optimistic he would return by this upcoming weekend against the Jets.

At that time, Beane explained the Bills would wait seven to 10 days and re-exam Miller’s knee. Upon that examination, Miller’s ACL was deemed torn and season-ending surgery was required.

On a positive, Beane did say the Bills expect Miller back for “most of 2023.” Truthfully, that holds little weight as each player is different following injury and Miller is 33.

Time will tell exactly what the future holds for the pass rusher.
