The Buffalo Bills rolled the New York Jets in Week 10. It was a 45-17 final.
It wasn’t even really that close, as Gang Green put up some points late on Buffalo when they took their foot off the gas.
Still, the Bills’ ability to put up points is what matters here. That aspect of their game helped Buffalo (6-3) set a new team record.
That 45 points was a single-game high for the Bills this season. It took the club to 280 total points scores so far in 2021.
There’s your record.
That 280 total points scored by the Bills surpassed the team’s record of 278 from 1964:

Helping the Bills get there was a couple of huge outputs on offense early this season.
The win against the Jets was third time Buffalo put up 40 points or more on an opponent.
The Bills have have also surpassed 30 another three times.
