The Buffalo Bills activated tight end Dawson Knox on Thursday. The team announced that Knox was cleared to return after spending time on the team’s Reserve/ COVID-19 list.
Knox and several other Bills tight ends landed on the list on Oct. 24 after he reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus. The others had since already been removed from the list after being placed there as a contact tracing safety protocol.
That designation came just a day prior to the Bills facing the Jets in Week 7. Tyler Kroft was able to play that game though because he was not in contact with Knox like the other tight ends on Buffalo’s roster were.
