Bijan Robinson loses bet, wears Georgia shirt after Texas Longhorns’ loss

Former Texas Longhorns RB Bijan Robinson was forced to wear a Georgia Bulldogs shirt after losing a bet on the game.

It must have been a crazy week for Texas Ex Bijan Robinson. The former Longhorns RB now plays for the Atlanta Falcons and no doubt had to hear a lot in the ATL about the Georgia Bulldogs, before and after the game.

So it was surprising and humorous when Robinson sheepishly walked into a Wednesday press availability at Falcons headquarters wearing a Georgia T-shirt. According to the Austin American-Statesman, the Arizona native reportedly muttered “Georgia sucks” as he walked to the podium.

Robinson lost his bet with Falcons tight end Charlie Woerner, a former Georgia player. “This shirt really is not cool,” Robinson said.

Robinson was drafted seventh overall by the Falcons in the 2023 NFL draft and ran for 1,463 yards and eight total touchdowns in his rookie season. He has 684 total yards and four touchdowns through seven game this season.

While at Texas, Robinson rushed for 3,410 career rushing yards in three seasons and ranks only behind Ricky Williams (6,279), Cedric Benson (5,540) and Earl Campbell (4,443). The former five-star also had 33 touchdowns in his career at Texas.
