Bijan Robinson is the lone Longhorn on USA TODAY Sports’ All-Bowl Team

USA TODAY Sports released their all-bowl team with the college football season now complete.

Not much of a shocking development that Bijan Robinson is receiving some accolades.

After the Associated Press named the five-star running back to their all-bowl team last week, USA TODAY Sports has followed suit. Robinson was named as the all-purpose player on the all-bowl team.

Joining Robinson on the offensive team was Oklahoma Sooners‘ offensive lineman Erik Swenson. On defense, fellow Sooner Woodi Washington was named to the team along with West Virginia linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo and Iowa State’s O’Rien Vance.

The team was dominated by Southeastern Conference players and many of them from the Alabama Crimson Tide. No shock as they ran through the playoffs and the entire season to become the 2020 National Champions.

For Robinson, all focus shifts onto the offseason and learning a new system from head coach Steve Sarkisian. The benefit for Robinson, along with Roschon Johnson, is that running backs coach Stan Drayton will return to reprise his role in 2021.

Along with Keaontay Ingram, the trio combined for 1,371 rushing yards, with Robinson’s 703 leading the way. The backs only managed 350 receiving yards but that number should grow in 2021 under Sark. Unfortunately for Texas, that might be without one of the three main backs in 2020.
