This takeaway almost feels like a regurgitation of a weekly takeaway. However, when you watch No. 5 in the backfield, you can’t help but wonder why Bijan Robinson isn’t featured a lot more than he is. He touched the ball a total of 12 times in the game and generated 220 yards. After going up 14-0 quickly in the first quarter, Robinson would only get one touch in the next six drives.

When the offense came back out in the second half, Robinson took a handoff  and 66 yards later the Horns were back in the redzone. Thompson would find Joshua Moore for the 13-yard touchdown pass. What a novel concept. After the offense slowed down to a halt without Robinson, he set them up once again in scoring position. He wasn’t done.

It has been said weekly but Bijan Robinson needs 20 touches per game minimum. Had they continued to feature the starting running back, that game isn’t as close as seven points at the half. The only person that was able to stop Bijan Robinson was Tom Herman and through one half of football, he did. Don’t overthink this, Robinson needs to be featured.
