Michigan won its first conference championship since 2004, routing the Iowa Hawkeyes, 42-3, in the Big Ten championsip game.
Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara completed 16-of-24 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown pass, while the Wolverines rushed for 211 yards and four scores. That included Blake Corum’s 67-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring.
After the Wolverines outscored Iowa 28-0 in the second half, they had officially put the finishing touches on their 43rd Big Ten title. The win also notched Michigan’s first 12-win season since 1997 and the third in program history.
It also propelled the Wolverines into the College Football Playoff. Now, Michigan is looking to duplicate that feat in 2022. Meanwhile, Ohio State wants to regain what it feels is its rightful perch in the conference after the Buckeyes’ string of four straight Big Ten titles was snapped last season.
A host of other teams from both the East and West would love to stake their name to a Big Ten crown. The last Big Ten champion not named Ohio State or Michigan was Penn State in 2016.
Without further ado, here’s a look at Tipico Sportsbook’s odds for every Big Ten team to win the conference championship in 2022.
