In an announcement made on Tuesday, CBS Sports has announced it will air the Big Ten Championship game in 2024. This will be the first season for CBS, as they combine with Paramount+ to air a full season of Big Ten Football.
The first game games that were announced to be aired out of the Big Ten will be Notre Dame at Purdue on September 14th followed by USC and Michigan on September 21st, 2024.
All Saturday games on CBS will be aired at 3:30 pm EST with the exception of the Big Ten Championship. That will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at 8:00 pm EST.
The contract is just for one season, as Fox will grab it again in 2025, NBC will air the game in 2026, and Fox will once again have it in 2027. CBS is locked in again for 2028.
Fox has aired the Big Ten Title game since the 2011 season, which was the first season of the big game.
