Alan Bowman plays lights out
The more things change, the more they stay the same. With any Texas Tech team from Mike Leach to Tommy Tuberville to Kliff Kingsbury to Matt Wells, it begins and ends with who is under center. Or in the case of this offense, who is standing behind the center in the shotgun. Alan Bowman needs a big game for Texas Tech to have a chance.
For Tech, Bowman needs to pull out a Houston-like performance. In that game he threw for over 600 yards and five touchdowns. On Sept. 15 in 2018 as a freshman, Bowman lit up the scoreboard in a 63-49 game. He needs that kind of performance for Texas Tech to defend the Jones.
