The Miz and Maryse like to call themselves the “It Couple” of WWE, but for at least one day, that honor belonged to Bianca Belair and Montez Ford.
The married superstars first were on hand for the bell-ringing ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange Tuesday morning, part of the WWE contingent there to celebrate the official launch of TKO Group Holdings, the new company formed from the merger of WWE and UFC under Endeavor.

Belair and Ford then headed from NYC to Newark Tuesday evening, where they walked the red carpet and were on hand for the MTV Video Music Awards.

The multitalented Belair revealed that she made her own dress for the VMAs and helped Ford with his fit as well. It’s not the first time she’s been her own designer, as she also made her own dress for the 2021 ESPYs.
In an interview with NHL, Bianca Belair revealed when asked “Who are you wearing?” ——
she replied “herself.” She made her dress, added the train and also tailored and spiced up Montez Ford’s suit. 🐐 pic.twitter.com/t6JsEpJlml

As many fans have pointed out on social media, having Belair and Ford on hand on behalf of the company is a sign WWE has a lot of faith in their ongoing star power. Belair is temporarily out of the spotlight by her standards at the moment, but the three-time world champion figures to be right back in the title hunt sooner rather than later.
Ford seems to be a perennial pick to break out as a singles star due to his blend of charisma and athleticism, but is enjoying a bit more of a push at the moment with his Street Profits partner Angelo Dawkins thanks to their alliance with Bobby Lashley. They’ve teased both a tag team title run and their desire to fill the vacuum if/when The Bloodline finally disintegrates for good.
For the time being, however, he and Belair will almost certainly be called upon to rep WWE at more events, and it’s hard to argue against that being an excellent choice.
