The last game of the regular season is finally upon us as the Florida Gators (13-7, 9-6 SEC) travel to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers (16-7, 9-7 SEC) in a game that was rescheduled due to the COVID pandemic.
A lot rests on the outcome of this game as far as the Southeastern Conference Tournament is concerned. If Florida wins, they earn the No. 4 seed and get a double-bye in the tournament, while a loss drops them to the No. 5 seed, pitting them once again on Thursday against a would-be No. 4 seed Tennessee.
UF took the first meeting of the season back on January 19 when the Vols were ranked No. 6 in the nation — a huge boost of confidence for a team without its SEC Preseason Player of the Year Keyontae Johnson. The Gators have had some ups and downs since then, while Tennessee has been in a bit of a free-fall, having tumbled out of the top 25 recently.
BetMGM has the Gators a 5.5-point underdog to the Vols while the over/under is set at 136.5 points ahead of game time.
