Due to multiple injuries throughout his true freshman season, Colorado men’s basketball fans only saw flashes of Cody Williams’ immense natural talent.
Still, the former five-star prospect averaged 11.9 points on 55.2% shooting from the field en route to earning Pac-12 All-Freshman honors. He played in 24 games, including 19 starts, while helping the Buffs to their winningest season in program history.
Williams officially declared for the 2024 NBA draft in April and is currently a projected lottery pick. Now-former CU teammates KJ Simpson and Tristan da Silva are also expected to hear their names called in the draft.
