While Penn State was basking in a primetime victory in front of a whiteout crowd in its fourth game of the season, a number of former Nittany Lions were gearing up for Week 3 in the NFL. There were some mixed results on the field and the win column for some of Penn State’s finest at the next level.
Former running back [autotag]Saquon Barkley[/autotag] was ruled out of the Thursday night game for the New York Giants after injuring his ankle in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. And those same Cardinals handed [autotag]Micah Parsons[/autotag] and the Dallas Cowboys their first loss of the year. Former wide receiver [autotag]Chris Godwin[/autotag] also suffered his first loss of the season with the Tamp Bay Buccaneers after coming up short on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.
