The Oklahoma Sooners have played good ball when they’ve been inside the friendly confines of the Lloyd Noble Center. The home team kept their unbeaten record in the 2023-2024 season intact with a 77-63 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Jalon Moore treated those in attendance with a highlight worthy performance, showing off his incredible leaping ability as he led the Sooners with 16 points on 7 of 11 shooting.
Oklahoma outrebounded the visiting Mountaineers and outscored them in the paint by 16 points. The defense stepped up in a big way, forcing 16 turnovers and holding WVU to just two fast break points in the win.
The Sooners are now 14-3, 2-2 in Big 12 play, and 11-0 at home this season. They’ll go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday and see if they can end their road woes.
