But on Sunday afternoon, the Rams somehow managed to turn what looked like it was going to be a no-touchdown affair into a thrilling finish.
Stetson Bennett overcame his four interceptions by completing the comeback with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Miller Forristall with 4 seconds left, giving the Rams a late lead. It might only be the preseason, but the Rams were genuinely excited when Bennett hit Forristall for the game-winner, improving the team’s preseason record to 2-8 since 2021.
