Led by two-way superstar Travis Hunter, wide receiver LaJohntay Wester and another strong defensive showing, Colorado football secured its seventh straight win over rival Colorado State on Saturday evening.
The Buffs got off to a slow start offensively before quarterback Shedeur Sanders connected with Wester for two second-quarter touchdowns. In the second half, Sanders threw another pair of touchdowns to Hunter, who finished with a team-high 100 receiving yards while totaling five tackles and an interception.
Playing in front of a sold-out Canvas Stadium crowd, Colorado scored four turnovers and held CSU quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi to only 209 passing yards.
