Vols Wire’s best and worst case scenarios for Tennessee in 2020

Best case for Tennessee: 8-2

Tennessee enters 2020 on a six-game winning streak. Jeremy Pruitt has the Vols back to a standard of beating Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt – now he has to defeat the big three in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Quarterback play will dictate how well Tennessee fares in contests against Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Worst case for Tennessee: 5-5

Tennessee is back to where it should be as a program in being able to defeat Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Vols also travel to Arkansas in a contest that should give UT at least five wins in 2020.

Discussion with Valdosta head coach Rush Propst of a possible three-way tie between Florida, Georgia and Tennessee for first-place in the SEC East can also be listened to here or below on the show “Tennessee Two-A-Days.”
