Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown suffered an injury late in the team’s game against the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
Brown appeared to injure himself attempting to slide on the turf instead of scoring a touchdown late in the game while the Bengals attempted to burn clock with the game tied at 17.
The injury forced the Bengals to use their final timeout and Brown needed the help of trainers to leave the field. Joe Burrow scored a touchdown on the next play to give the Bengals the lead.
Before exiting the game, Brown had carried the ball 20 times for 67 yards and caught four passes. Entering the game, he had rushed for 923 yards and seven touchdowns, with another 50 catches, 336 yards and four touchdowns as the breakout lead back.
The Bengals ruled Brown out due to an ankle injury.
