Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dax Hill limped off the field during the opening quarter of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
What turned into a routine-looking trip to the blue tent almost immediately resulted in the team ruling him out for the game with a knee injury.
Losing Hill for any sort of time would be a big blow to the Bengals defense. The former safety transitioned to cornerback and won a starting job over the summer.
With Hill out of the lineup, former second-rounder DJ Turner will start across from Cam Taylor-Britt. Rookie Josh Newton has already been called into duty with veteran slot corner Mike Hilton out on Sunday, too.
