Bengals LB Logan Wilson out 2-5 weeks with shoulder injury

New info from a report about Bengals LB Logan Wilson.

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson will miss a range of two-to-five weeks after suffering a shoulder injury during his team’s win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Wilson re-injured the shoulder that required surgery this past offseason and reported the possible return timetable, presuming all goes well.

After the report, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said the team technically considers Wilson day-to-day, per ESPN’s Ben Baby.

When updating the injury earlier this week, Taylor told reporters it was hopefully a week-to-week injury, although that was likely before further testing.

The Bengals were already struggling defensively at times over the last few weeks without DJ Reader in the middle of the line, so losing one of the game’s best linebackers is a significant blow.

In the interim, the Bengals will turn to the likes of Markus Bailey and others for help, with the possibility that Wilson heads to short-term injured reserve.
