Bengals LB Logan Wilson carted off with injury vs. Chargers

A big injury setback.

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson suffered an injury on special teams during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Bengals trainers used a cart to help Wilson leave the field.

Wilson picked up snaps on special teams during the game due to injuries suffered by others. He had been enjoying a strong season in his second year, his first with the communications headset in the middle of the defense.

Before Wilson went down, the team had announced that backup Markus Bailey was questionable to return with a shoulder injury. That left Joe Bachie filling in with the base defense alongside the likes of Germaine Pratt. Akeem Davis-Gaither, another starter, is already on injured reserve.
