Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow underwent reconstructive knee surgery on his left knee last December.
According to Dr. Neal ElAttrache, after a long recovery, Burrow is “all systems go” for the Bengals regular-season home opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed this earlier today.

Joe Burrow made a few media appearances throughout the offseason, and while chatting with Cris Collinsworth on his podcast, Burrow said he expected to be ready to take the first snap of week one.

Before suffering the season-ending knee injury, Joe Burrow made an immediate impact on this Bengals team his rookie year. He started 10 games for Cincinnati and completed over 65% of his passes for 2,688 yards and 13 touchdowns.
We’ve seen a hungry Joe Burrow completely take over college football in a historic way back in 2019.
Could we see a similar thing happen in the 2021 NFL season?
It’s highly doubtful that the Cincinnati Bengals become Super Bowl favorites this season, but don’t sleep on Joe Burrow having an all-time comeback type of year.
