The Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings turned in their final injury reports before a Week 1 season opener.

And it’s the Bengals who come out looking really good. Cincinnati listed cornerback Trae Waynes as out, while Minnesota listed the following players as out:

  • T Christian Darrisaw
  • LB Anthony Barr

That’s two potential starters for the Vikings that have to sit out this week when the Vikings visit Paul Brown Stadium. Darrisaw is the much bigger deal and it could mean a new-look Bengals pass-rush feasts.

Waynes was on the only blemish on the injury report over the first two days of the week it was issued. But Bengals head coach Zac Taylor had already ruled him out at the start of the week. That he didn’t get put on IR suggests they expect he’ll be back in the next two weeks.
