The Cincinnati Bengals are apparently a finalist for free agent running back Ezekiel Elliott.
A Thursday report revealed the development, which stated that the Bengals are one of three preferred final destinations for Elliott as he seeks out a new team.
Elliott, turning 28 next season, was cut by the Dallas Cowboys recently and is one of the high-profile names still on the market. He’s also a former Ohio State Buckeyes star, which in the state of Ohio, makes him a tad polarizing.
The Bengals have Joe Mixon still on the roster but lost Samaje Perine, further polarizing the reaction to the report.
