The 2021 NFL Draft has come and gone, and the way to early 2022 mock drafts are officially underway.
NFL Draft Analyst Matt Miller recently released his early 2022 mock draft via his site, The Draft Scout.
Matt Miller Mock Draft: Early 2022 NFL Mock Draft
Miller has the Cincinnati Bengals selecting LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. with the third overall draft pick.

It’s way to early to know how next years draft will project but most experts believe that Stingley will be the top cornerback off the board and most likely a top-ten pick.
I put the 2021 draft to bed, starting on 2022:
My top 5 for 2022 (as of 4/19/21):
1. DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, @oregonfootball
2. S Kyle Hamilton, @NDFootball
3. CB Derek Stingley, Jr., @LSUfootball
4. DE Drake Jackson, @USC_FB
5. QB Sam Howell, @TarHeelFootball— Gil Brandt (@Gil_Brandt) April 19, 2021
The Bengals certainly seem to like drafting former LSU stars, so this pick makes a ton of sense for both sides.
If the Bengals end up with a top ten draft pick in next years 2022 NFL Draft, selecting Stingley will definitely be discussed.
It’s early, yet still fun to think about.
