Players are out of the building until Monday due to the bye and haven’t been in the building since this past Wednesday. Per league protocols, players are still being tested daily.
The Bengals this morning were made aware that two of the team’s players have tested positive for COVID-19. We are following applicable protocols and continue to prioritize the health and safety of our team, Bengals’ team statement.
According to The Athletic’s Jay Morrison, a 10-day protocol for players would mean those who tested positive won’t be re-activated until the Saturday before the team’s Week 9 game against the Steelers.
Cincinnati previously hadn’t had anyone on the COVID-19 reserve list all season
