Bellyflopping Boilermakers cheerleader was the real winner of Purdue-Minnesota game

Legend.

It was a wet, rainy, messy day in West Lafayette, Indiana for the Minnesota-Purdue game on Saturday, and although the weather probably wasn’t enjoyable for both the players and fans in attendance, the Boilermakers cheerleaders had some fun with it.

The Gophers ended up beating Purdue, 20-13, on the road with quarterback Tanner Morgan leading the way with 169 passing yards and one of his team’s two touchdowns, while their defense forced a couple Boilermaker turnovers.

But the real winner of the Big Ten matchup was this one Purdue cheerleader, who did a spectacular bellyflop into a giant puddle on the sideline at Ross-Ade Stadium as her teammates and the (creepy) mascot, Purdue Pete, cheered her on.

What a legend.
