Bears Week 3 injury report: Darnell Mooney limited, Eddie Jackson DNP Wednesday

Here’s a look at the Bears’ Week 3 injury report following Wednesday’s practice:

The Chicago Bears released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After left tackle Braxton Jones landed on injured reserve with a neck injury, the Bears got some encouraging news regarding a couple of key starters in wide receiver Darnell Mooney and safety Eddie Jackson, who exited last Sunday’s game with injuries.

Mooney was back at practice in limited fashion, as he deals with a knee injury. Earlier this week, Mooney told reporters he expects to play Sunday. Jackson suffered a foot injury, which held him out of Wednesday’s practice. But head coach Matt Eberflus said things were looking “positive” for Jackson.
