The Chicago Bears offense has found a nice rhythm in the first half against the Detroit Lions, where they scored touchdowns on their first two drives of the game.
They also happen to both be touchdown runs by running back David Montgomery.
Montgomery’s second touchdown was a hard fought 9-yard run where he carried defenders with him. Montgomery has been impressive in the first half, rushing 12 times for 50 yards to the tune of two scores.

The touchdown was set up by this beautiful 64-yard pass from Justin Fields to Darnell Mooney, something Bears fans hope to see for years to come.

But that drive doesn’t happen without defensive tackle Bilal Nichols coming away with a fumble by Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
