Bears’ Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn are NFL’s leading sack duo

Bears OLBs Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn have established themselves as one of the league’s best pass-rush duos.

The Chicago Bears have sacked the quarterback more than any other team this season. Chicago has 20 sacks through the first six games, which includes 13.5 by edge rushers alone.

When the Bears signed Robert Quinn to a massive five-year, $70 million deal back in 2020, the expectation was Quinn and Khalil Mack would become a formidable pass rush duo in the NFL.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be. Mack and Quinn combined for just 11.0 sacks, with Quinn mustering a career-low 2.0 sacks.

Things couldn’t be any more different this season, where Mack and Quinn have established themselves as one of the league’s best pass-rush duos.

Through the first six games, Mack and Quinn have combined for 11.5 sacks, which already exceeded their total in 16 games a season ago. Mack and Quinn are the NFL’s leading sack duo right now.

Mack leads the Bears with 6.0 sacks (5th in NFL) and Quinn isn’t far behind with 5.5 sacks (8th). Mack has recorded at least 1.0 sack in five straight games, and Quinn has recorded at least 0.5 sack in five of six games this season.
