The Chicago Bears were scheduled to hold a morning practice on Thursday. But following the lead of many sports franchises, the Bears canceled their Thursday practice in protest of the Jacob Blake shooting and the racial injustice that continues around the country.
Chicago held a team meeting this morning at 9:30 before the team announced practice was canceled. According to Ian Rapoport, many Bears players were planning on protesting, which is why practice was canceled.
